Ordering & Purchase

How can I order an artwork?

You can order directly through our online shop. Add the desired artwork to your shopping cart and follow the checkout process. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email or phone.

Are all works unique?

Yes! Each artwork is a handmade unique piece. Even if I create a similar piece, it will always be unique due to the natural grain and craftsmanship.

Can I view a work before purchasing?

Of course! If you are nearby, you can visit my workshop by appointment and view the works in person. Simply contact me.

Do you offer installment payments?

For high-priced artworks, we can arrange individual payment agreements. Just talk to me!

Are gift vouchers available?

Yes, gift vouchers in various values are available. Perfect for special occasions!

Shipping & Delivery

How are the sculptures shipped?

All works are carefully packed in wood wool and recycled materials and shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes. Particularly valuable or large pieces are additionally packed in wooden crates.

How long does delivery take?

Within Germany: 3-5 working days
European foreign countries: 5-10 working days
Large sculptures: By individual arrangement

What are the shipping costs?

Germany: Free shipping from 150€, otherwise 8.90€
EU: From 19.90€ (depending on size and weight)
Freight forwarding: For very large works, costs according to effort

Can works be shipped internationally?

Yes! I ship throughout Europe. Shipping costs are calculated individually. Contact me for a quote.

Are the works insured?

All shipments are fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit, you are covered.

Customization & Commissions

Can I commission a custom artwork?

Yes, gladly! I create individual sculptures according to your wishes. Tell me your ideas (size, type of wood, style, theme), and I will create a non-binding offer.

How does a commissioned work process work?

1. Initial consultation: You describe your ideas
2. Conception: I create sketches and a cost estimate
3. Confirmation: After your approval, I begin the work
4. Down payment: 50% upon commission
5. Updates: I keep you informed about the progress
6. Completion: Final payment and shipping

How long does a commissioned work take?

Depending on complexity, 4-12 weeks. For very elaborate projects, it can take longer. I will give you a realistic timeframe upon accepting the commission.

Can I provide my own wood?

In exceptional cases, yes – for example, if you have wood from a special tree in your garden. It is important that the wood is dry and free of cracks. Contact me for details.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my wooden sculpture?

Regular dusting with a soft cloth is sufficient. 1-2 times a year, you can refresh the surface with wood oil. Detailed instructions can be found on our care page.

Can a damaged sculpture be repaired?

In most cases, yes. Small scratches can be repaired yourself. For larger damages, I offer restoration services. Send me photos of the damage.

How long does a wooden sculpture last?

With good care and a suitable location: Generations! Solid wood is one of the most durable materials ever.

Does the wood change over time?

Yes, this is natural and intended. Wood is a living material:

• Walnut: Darkens slightly
• Cherry: Develops golden tones
• Oak: More intense grain
• Beech: Can darken slightly

This patina makes the artwork even more valuable over time.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return an artwork?

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to legal regulations. The artwork must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging.

Is there a warranty?

I guarantee the craftsmanship of my work. In case of material defects or manufacturing flaws (very rare!), I will, of course, take care of a solution.

What happens in case of transport damage?

All shipments are insured. In case of damage during transport, please report it immediately. You will receive a replacement or repair – depending on the case.

Why are handmade wooden sculptures so expensive?

The price reflects:

• High-quality materials (fine solid wood)
• Decades of experience and skill
• Many hours of pure handwork (10-150 hours per piece)
• Uniqueness (not a mass-produced item)
• Durability (lasts generations)

You are not buying a product, but a unique piece with a soul.

Does the value of my sculpture increase?

Artworks can increase in value, especially from established artists. There is no guarantee for this. The true value lies in the joy the artwork brings you!

Are there discounts or special offers?

Occasionally, I offer promotions for newsletter subscribers. Follow me on social media for special offers.

Material & Technical

What types of wood do you use?

Mainly American walnut, oak, cherry, and beech. More details can be found on our wood types page.

Are the surfaces treated?

Yes, with natural oils and waxes. No harmful chemicals or varnishes.

Can sculptures be placed outdoors?

No, my works are designed for indoor use. Weather would damage the wood.

How heavy are the sculptures?

This varies greatly. Small objects weigh 0.5-2 kg, large sculptures can weigh 10-30 kg. The exact weight is specified with each product.
