My Workshop

My workshop is more than just a workplace – it's my creative sanctuary, my laboratory.

The workshop is equipped with both traditional hand tools and modern machines. However, regardless of the technology, craftsmanship always remains the focus. Every cut, every shape, every surface is treated with the utmost care.

My Tools and Techniques

Traditional Hand Tools:

• Various carving knives and chisels for fine details
• Rasps and files for shaping
• Hand planes for precise surfaces

Modern Support:

• Bandsaw for rough cuts
• Sanding machines for surface finishing
  

Despite modern aids, the majority of my work is pure handcraft. This is the only way I can respect the uniqueness of each piece of wood and create individual works of art.

Responsibility in the Workshop

I exclusively use solid precious wood and make sure to waste as little material as possible. Scraps are used for smaller projects or find a meaningful use as firewood.

The surface treatment is done with natural oils and waxes that protect the wood without distorting its natural beauty.
